PRIVACY POLICY
LAST UPDATED · JUNE 2026
This policy explains what personal data Church Collectives collects, how we use it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over it. By using our store you agree to the practices described here.
Who we are
Church Collectives (“we”, “us”) is a faith-worn streetwear label selling online to customers in Ghana, the United Kingdom, and beyond. For any privacy question, contact hello@churchcollectives.com.
What we collect
- Order details — your name, email, phone, delivery address, and what you bought.
- Payment data — handled directly by our payment providers (Stripe for cards, MTN Mobile Money for MoMo). We never see or store your full card or mobile-wallet details.
- Account data — if you create an account, your email and a securely hashed password.
- Marketing data — your email if you subscribe to drops and updates.
- Usage data — pages viewed and basic device info, collected through cookies and analytics to improve the store.
How we use it
- To process, fulfil, and deliver your orders.
- To send order confirmations, shipping updates, and support replies.
- To send marketing emails about drops — only if you opted in.
- To prevent fraud and keep the store secure.
- To understand and improve how the store is used.
Who we share it with
We share data only with the providers that run the store on our behalf — payment processors (Stripe, MTN MoMo), delivery and courier partners, our email provider, and hosting and analytics services. We never sell your personal data.
Cookies and tracking
Essential cookies run the cart, sign-in, and currency choice — they are always on. Marketing tools (the Meta Pixel and its server-side mirror) load only if you accept themin our cookie banner, and you can change your choice anytime via the “Cookies” link in the footer. We also keep our own anonymous visit counts (no identity, no third parties) to understand how the store is used.
Marketing emails
If you subscribe, we'll email you about new drops and offers. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email, or by emailing us. Consent to marketing is never required to make a purchase.
How long we keep it
We keep order records for as long as needed to fulfil legal, tax, and accounting obligations, and marketing data until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (including under UK/EU GDPR and Ghana's Data Protection Act, 2012), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these, email hello@churchcollectives.com and we'll respond within a reasonable time.
Children
Our store is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date above reflects the current version.
